Hello all, I hope that everyone has a great New Year. I want to start podcasting my own internet show. I wanted to know what software would be the easiest to use with JAWS for creating a podcast? I am clueless when it comes to this type of software. Thanks, James.

I'm in the exact same situation. I know to listen to podcasts, you can get the Accessible PodCatcher, along with some more cool programs from
http://www.webbie.org.uk/download.htm
but I don't know what to use in making a podcast. Btw, I'm using JFW 8 and Hal 6, so something that works with one or both of those would be great.

two programs i use to make my podcasts, when i make them, are gold wave to record it, and ftp explorer to ftp it to libsyn, where i have it hosted. that's it. you can do loads with gold wave. to learn abouut podcasting, and gold wave and all sorts of othe rneat stuff, go to www.blindcooltech.com. podcasts there, even on podcasting. not mine, but i have one or two up there, as do loads of others. hth, simon

The last time i looked there was a stable version but not so accessible and a beta with some accessibility addition. I am wondering when they will ever update it. Maybe they did but i don't know it because i didn't look for a bit lol.
Anyway Sorry for being a bit out of the subject but please Simon give us your link to your podcast. I would like to listen to it. I liked the few blind coo tech i heard from you.

Does lybsin host podcasts for free? I have an account with gcast.com but i didn't have any great ideas about podcasting yet so the account is there empty for now lol. But i heard with gcast sometimes podcast play at strange speeds mostly faster than they should.
I would also recoment goldwave which is very cheep or adobe audition if you have more money lol.
But even a digital recorder such as the olympus could do the trick but you will have to be very good and not doing mistakes to edit later.
